I Passed!

That’s right, ya’ll. I PASSED my motorcycle skills test and now HAVE my motorcycle endorsement! Woot!

It was a blast to find out that I can actually do it. I can drive a motorcycle.

That is about three-hundred degrees of empowering. Just saying.

The following is one of those “ToDo List” posts. You have been warned.

Now, that that is done, however, there is a mountain of stuff to get done in fairly short order. All the curriculum for work has to be finished and published (and tested) no later than Wednesday (and the only one that can wait until Wednesday is the last minute insertion….grrrr.) Totally achievable assuming no one eff’s up and I get what I need.

The booklet for the worship services for Assembly has to be finished and to the printer by…. uh, yesterday. OK, actually to Kinko’s in time for them to print and me to pickup by Wednesday evening, so no later than Tuesday noon. Achievable, but I need to find a couple of pieces of paper that have some favorite hymns that need to be included. That will require a little archeology…you know the kind “which pile is that in and where is that pile?” *sigh*

I also need to do a little laundry so that I can pack a bag for the 5 days I’ll be gone. Washing only what I need to take: achievable. Getting all the laundry done before I leave town? No freaking way.

Clean the kitchen before I leave? doubtful. Clean the refrigerator? Probably should make that mandatory, if I don’t want to die of the stench when I get back.

Get in two cardio workouts before Wednesday afternoon? Stretch goal. Especially given that I didn’t go yesterday, the work goals previously mentioned and the fact that I need to spend 1-3 hours at Saturn tomorrow morning getting an oil change, the tires rotated and the brakes checked.

Tired yet? Yeah, me too.

It is now about 9:00 Sunday night. I think I’ll throw in a load of whites and then actually, I’m going to shower and go to bed. 5 hours of riding a motorcycle sort of tires out a person, you know?

But I passed my test!
