All Creatures Great and Small

Saturday evening I spent a most enjoyable time visiting with SrK & J out at their house in the Country. The first line of her directions were “take 35 north FOREVER.” And she wasn’t lying.

They rent this cute littel farmhouse (and outbuildings) for $575 a month and it includes some number of grazing acres where J is grazing a small herd of jersey cattle for meat (so, for you city kids that all 10 of them were “fixed” males. Growing little horns and everything.)

After dinner we walked over to the fence and the silly cows came over to have their noses scratched and to lick our sweatshirts.

That’s so cheap. My place has no yard is still way more expensive.
