A Family Resemblance

I’m still processing a bunch of the conversations I had this past weekend. You see, we joined a mini-reunion with my dad’s side of the family. Cousins who, as a group, I haven’t seen for many years. Some of them close to 20 years.

And one thing I learned this weekend is that this permiable boundary thing I’ve got going on? Yeah. It might be genetic. So, there was lots of grilling and not just of the food variety.

In the meantime, enjoy some pictures of the northwoods of Wisconsin.

Gorgeous shots. The hardest thing about my family is looking at them and seeing my own worst traits staring back at me.

permiable boundary? sigh, guess I have to go back and read some more of your blog… ;-)
I’ll miss going to Wisconsin every year, actually, now that I’ll no longer be married to the Wisconsite.

Churlita - Ain’t it the truth! We spent way too much time commenting on “You still do that!?” and “You sounded just like Aunt so-and-so” or whomever.

NoRegrets - you know….how bloggers are all about blabbing their innermost foibles, online dating disasters, gastrointestinal disturbances, crappy housekeeping practices and the like :D

    Beautiful pics.

Those pictures are so pretty. Just looking at them makes me feel peaceful…not so much when I think about being grilled by my family :-)
