One week from today

The boys start school. DS1 begins his senior year. DS2 begins 9th grade. Both at the high school.

I feel like I’ve wasted the summer.

DS1 said they have soccer at 5:30. Of course, he didn’t tell me until after 9:00 last night. So they have to find their own ride. With the day I have, I won’t even be home by 5:30. They’re going to have to feed themselves out of the crock-pot. Another dinner I’m not there with them.

JMC is coming over this evening to help prepare her space here. Moving day is Friday.

I’ve got to get a move on if I’m going to get that crock-pot going and make my 8:00 meeting.

My girls started school last Monday. That seems WAY too early to me. What happened to Summer?

Summer does not mean as much when there is no school to go to. My days, weeks, and months all kind of mush together into one big blob. I just know I have to wake up on weekdays and can stay out on weekends…
