don’t share that water bottle!!!!

The varsity soccer team is all sick. At least one of them (possibly two) have Mono.

DS1 has been dragging and complaining of "feeling like crap" for a couple of days. I thought it was a cold or the crud that’s been going around. Until I heard about the mono yesterday at the JV game.

I’ve scheduled an appointment for him for 11:15 today, but called X to take him. In my defense there, X has been off all week because he has to burn through some PTO hours that can’t be carried over. Plus it will allow X to be edjumacated on Mono. He thinks you can "still go to school, just not play sports."

I know I’m biased based on the experience I had with Mono in high-school, but I don’t see that as a viable option.

To add into the fun, DS2 is having "a few" friends over this evening in honor of his 15th birthday (actually next Tuesday) so I’ll be baking a cake while I’m working from home today.

In other Sports News: The Minnesota Twins are in 1st place with three games to go. And there is much rejoicing.

Why do we feel guilty when we have our ex-husband’s take the kids to the dr. You know our exes are torn up about it when we take them.

I’m so sorry that he’s so sick. I hope his convalescence will be short.
