I’m a real Trooper. Again.

So, it turns out this tension/lack of caffeine headache with nausea I’ve been fighting all day is probably actually some sort of gastrointestinal bug.

I say that based on the way my gastrointestines are reacting to dinner. (I’m making the huge leap of faith that it is NOT the debate that is making me feel all gurgly and, well, you know.) And also based on how the Excedrine migraine, the ice packs, the thera-cane, the cold press, the FITNESS BOOTCAMP or the walk to the corner store didn’t make a dent in the aforementioned headache/nausea.

Did I mention I made it through an ENTIRE HOUR-LONG BOOTCAMP session with what is apparently the stomach flu? Oh. I did? Well, I’d like my medal now, please.

And during said bootcamp, I ran a mile in 12 minutes and 3 seconds. Please don’t laugh. That’s the very fastest and longest I’ve run since….. uh, maybe ever. And I only thought I was dying twice. Ok, maybe three times.

And I did 20 pushups at the end of the session without stopping. (funnest part was tossing the 10 lb basketball thingy back and forth.)

It’s little steps people. And personal bests.

Even if they are baby-steps in comparison to people who actually "enjoy" exercising.

And now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go back in the bathroom. Oy.

The medal is in the mail.

I hope you feel better soon. When you are, I’ll send cookies.

That is amazing that you could do all that while sick! And don’t put down what you’re doing - it’s great.

You are a rockstar. I couldn’t do any of that with the flu and I like to exercise.
