You Can’t Make This Stuff Up

I found out today that DH-L is leaving The Big Corporate Job. She’s giving LN a month notice because “I like you and don’t want to leave you in the lurch. I want to write down all the processes I have in my head and show you how to do some of this stuff.”

Basically, she’ll be transitioning everything over to me.

I also found out today that ST, our department administrator is looking. LN is expecting an offer early next week.

I wish the community’s job (Director of Education) was going to start earlier, because I would love nothing better to walk out with all of them leaving the senior management here standing around scratching their heads in puzzlement. Of course, that kind of talk is counting chickens before they’re even laid, much less hatched.

So, when are any of these people going to get replaced, or are you just going to run the whole company by yourself for the same pay eventually?
