Ciao, baby!

I’m all packed and ready. I’ve had my morning meeting. I’m putting out a couple of fires and making sure I’ve covered the bases I need to cover. I’ve got an ISAIAH meeting at 1 and then another little fun meeting at 3. I’ll leave that a little early, go home, pick up my single carry on bag and the boys will take me to the light rail and I’ll be off!

One really amazing aspect of this trip is that I’ve asked a few of my blogosphere buddies to guest post for me while I’m gone. Everyone came through and so you’ll be treated to some of the funniest, insiteful and graceful writers I’ve “met” through this here adventure. They’ll ply you with stories true and enhanced. Click over and pay them a visit. I’m sure you’ll find at least a few new feeds for your reader.

I have a couple of selections for you today. First, since I’m going to the heart of Opera country, a bit of the high art by (of course) Miss Piggy and Beverly Sills:

And this 80’s cheese classic:

Because travel makes me happy, that’s why! Ciao!
