Music Monday – Back to Work Edition UPDATED

Can you BELIEVE that we have to work a full week this week?

Gaaaahhh!

I think the only way I might survive is by stealing the new music the boys got for Christmas and loading up my iPod. And hiding out in my cube as much as possible, of course. On the up-side, they keep the office warmer than I keep the house.

(non-interesting fun fact: It takes somewhere between 90-120 minutes to warm up the sheets and covers in my bed enough to fall asleep when the temperature is at -5 below zero. And approximately five hours after that, I’ll be overheated…. but not so much that I want to get out of bed. Makes one question the laziness that keeps one from going back downstairs to heat up the lavender heating pad, don’t it?)

I’m sure I’m late to this party, but I’m digging this sound. Enjoy.

UPDATE: I read/listened to this late in the day. An orginal song by The Communicatrix about resolutions, and self-improvment and what not. I LOVE it so much I had to pass it on to you. It reminded me a bit of this song I posted a couple of years ago. But Colleen’s song is much, much better and more universally useful. IMHO WARNING: Both songs contain many swears. Many, many needed swears. Just so you know.

I’ve worked most days of the holiday but having even a couple of days off for the holidays has been nice.

Oh, I’d say I’m in some pretty fine company with that song. And he’s got a great voice. Most excellent. Thanks for sharing. (In other news, I have been to two different P.O.s on two different days and BOTH have been closed. The universe is conspiring against me mailing this to you, but mail will prevail!)

Brrrrr! It is so hard to even consider weather that cold. But I do like that song.
