Grateful: Advent 2 edition
Another Sunday night list of a few of the things for which I’ve been grateful this week. It’s a lot of simple pleasures this week, mostly centered around taking time.
- All the decisions I made this week at the Evil Corporate Job – from staying away from the Sand Bat running the session on Monday, to taking Boss Lady home for dinner on Monday night and slamming the finishing touches on the course for Wednesday to the decision to NOT be available to facilitate that session.
- Taking three days of “sick” days and not being obsessed with either checking work email or getting anything else done either.
- Cooking really good food that was good REAL food.
- Singing
- DS2 – crazy funny boy/man that I got to spend the entire week with because X was out of town for the week
- Finding a new dining room light fixture on deep discount and hanging the new one with DS2’s help on Saturday afternoon
- Libby the Wonder Poodle not having another seizure episode and having all her blood work come back normal
- Spending Saturday night with G and his grief group friends watching the Elvis Impersonator (yes, again!)
- Dancing
- Bringing up the boxes of ornaments
- Clean sheets and comforters

Those are all wonderful things to be grateful for. I’ll take a list just like that.
