This Journey

Thoughts, rants, prayers, sermons I'll never give and other stuff gathered as I make my way through this life.

Tired of the bickering

Not at home. At home things are going great.

But in our public debate. In our work circles. In the wider family. In the organizations.

It all seems so tense and conflicted. And VIOLENT. And I’m tired of it and I don’t want to add to the dysfunction by commenting on it. But it’s not as if I don’t have opinions on it. So what’s a girl to do?

Anyway, I’m reading more lately. How about you? How are you staying out of the fray? Or are you jumping into the breech, dirk in your teeth, cutlass drawn, ready to take on all who dare cross your path?

Author: Not Fainthearted

A paradox wrapped in an enigma playing the accordion. I'm a sinner-saint, child of God working at the cross-roads of church and world. A Deaconess called to connect people living near the center with people on the edge and to help your life sing (literally and figuratively) while doing it. People don't always get the deaconess part. Could be the swearing, the corporate job, or the wine.
