Technology actually worked to make my life easier by allowing me to schedule a dr. visit online on Sunday evening. Awesome.
Random phone call from Sister KA. And another from AH (that ended with dinner!) Just hearing these friends voices helped my energy level a bit.

Arriving home Sunday after church and having Libby the Wonder Poodle greet me. And a little later, to lay her head on my lap and snooze.
Boys who willingly mow the lawn weeds. Even if they do it so that we can go to the movies.

Our interim associate pastor is unflappable. She added the installation service in at the last minute without a single whine, bitch or moan, and didn’t it with grace and confidence such that no one felt uncomfortable or awkward.

Some of this stuff makes me happy in a "grin and bear it" or "look on the bright side" sort of way. Still, they’re blessings to be grateful for.
The boys have a dad who is still involved enough in their lives to take them on a road trip to watch baseball and soccer teams–bonding stuff.
