bread, wine and which cheese?

So, Mr. Hockey and I are going to see “1408″ on Wednesday and I suggested a little picnic supper before hand. I thought cold (aka leftover from the night before) grilled salmon, a good crusty bread, a french white burgundy (Pouilly-Fuisse “La Roche” 2004) and cheese and strawberries….but what cheese?

Sunday morning musings (?!)

“Why are you home on a Sunday morning?” you might ask. Good question. Choir sang at the early service only and I feel like I’m being hit by a truck.
I’m not getting sick. (If I repeat that to myself enough, like a mantra, it will be magically true. Right?)

Lazy Saturday

I went out to get groceries. Started at the liquor store (hey, a person has to have priorities.) Bought an interesting 2003 bottle of French white burgundy from Macon region (aka chardonnay) and a 2005 bottle of Australian chardonnay. It will be an interesting comparison.
Got a bite of lunch.
Decided I was tired and came home [...]
