Seizure diary

Libby the Wonder Poodle had a seizure last night. The first and hopefully the last. But only time will tell on that one.
At least I think that’s what happened. I talked with the vet this morning and we took blood/urine for tests this afternoon, but the vet also said I should keep a seizure diary [...]

Teen driver

Last Monday, DS1 passed his driving test. He is not like me at all regarding driving. I turned 16 on a Saturday and couldn’t believe that I couldn’t take the test that very day. The injustice of having to wait all the way to the next week was almost unbearable! But DS1 turned 17 this [...]

Libby the Adventure Poodle – part I-can’t-count-that-high

I was planning on attending a picnic going away party for a musician friend tonight but plans have to change.
I came home at noon to work from home in the afternoon and found that Libby the Adventure Poodle had not only gotten into the live trap (baited with peanut butter) but had some how [...]

3:15 a.m.

and for whatever reason (because I actually get up and let her out; which is self-preservation so I don’t have to clean up a mess in the morning) she always comes to me to be let out in the wee small hours of the morning. Not that it happens every night.
But why on the nights [...]

505

No, not how many posts I’ve written. Or the name of a freeway somewhere. That’s the number of new posts on my bloglines since I’ve been out of town.
uff da!
It’s good to be home even though the rest of the week will be a little tense with trying to catch up and take care of [...]

Libby still very sick

They say she’s better but she’s still really sick. She’s just laying here on the floor after a short greeting where she really couldn’t jump up and hug me. She did try to greet ZH (he helped bring in bags) and got up to bark at DS2 when he came home from baseball.

midnight ramblings

What was that? I think it was the dog scratching at the door.
Seriously? What time is it? She probably has to go out.
Oh come on! Why can’t someone else let her out? You’re the mom.
I’ll call DS2. He’ll let her out. You’re going to wake your baby?
He’s not a baby! He’s 13! He has school [...]

Libby

Warning: this post describes basic biological functions of a dog. If you don’t want to read about stuff that’s inside that comes outside, move along.
She’s trying not to have accidents. I went to bed at 10:30 and asked DS2 to let her out before he went to bed. She woke me at 12:30, 2:00, 3:44 [...]

wow. now THAT was a Monday!

I’m just getting done with working on LN’s projects now. At 11:15 p.m. I’m supposed to send a copy of the insurance course design to the e-learning company and we’re going to talk through it tomorrow afternoon. Yeah right. I spent at least 8 hours working on a completely different module. One that I thought [...]

Adventure Poodle update

Libby the Adventure Poodle is not feeling well.
Friday before I left for my retreat she had an accident. On my bed. So I stripped the sheets and the blankets. Threw the sheets in the washer, the blankets in a bags to take to the laundromat (high capacity washers) and had leave.
YM said she had accidents [...]
